Spring is in full bloom as a mix of showers and sunshine hit the Grant Park neighborhood of Northeast Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

Temperatures in Portland are expected to drop a full 15 degrees on Sunday, from a high of 88 degrees on Saturday.

Then the seesawing continues.

Monday is expected to warm up a bit, according to the National Weather Service. The high temperature should hit 78 degrees, and skies in the Portland area will be sunny.

Tuesday could hit 87 degrees, marking another two-day, two-digit temperature swing.

A chance of showers and partly sunny skies will bring the high temperatures back down to the 72 to 75 degree range on Wednesday and Thursday.

The workweek will close with another change. Mostly sunny skies on Friday are expected to bring a high of 77 degrees, and Saturday could be as warm as 83 degrees.
