PORTLAND, Oregon — The first weekend of Summer was mostly filled with sunshine and above average temperatures. You can expect Sunday to be a bit cooler, than the last few days, with daytime highs in the low 70s. Our next weather maker brings a chance for pockets of light drizzle for both the Oregon coast and the Willamette Valley this morning. Partly sunny skies take over by the afternoon.

A red flag warning has been issued for parts of the Gorge and the Lower Columbia Basin between 1 PM and 8 PM Sunday. Sustained winds will reach 25 MPH with gusts up to 35 MPH. Low relative humidity will heighten fire danger.

Sunshine and warmer temperatures return Monday through Wednesday.

Thursday brings a shower chance with low 70s in the forecast. We'll stay dry into next weekend with low 80s returning by Saturday.
