PORTLAND, Oregon — The hottest weather of the week is already behind us. Portland hit 89° Tuesday.

High temperatures Wednesday will be ten to fifteen degrees cooler. We’ll also see more clouds as cooler coastal air has surged inland.

Cloudiness will increase today and showers or traces of rain will become possible later this afternoon, tonight and Thursday morning.

Friday will be mainly sunny and mild with highs near 80-degrees. Cloudiness increases Saturday and cooler air resurges Sunday.  The rain chance Sunday is decreasing in the updated forecast.

Next week bring a mix of sun and clouds, and there is no hot weather in the forecast, meaning no 90s through July 4th.
