If there is one thing the Oregon Ducks have consistently been known for among college football fans and recruits alike, it’s the uniforms.

The Ducks unveiled the first combination of their new “Generation O” football uniforms Wednesday, which the team will wear starting this upcoming season — Oregon’s first as members of the Big Ten Conference. The “Fly Era” combination is primarily black and white with green trim, and includes homages to Ducks teams past.

The shoulders feature black wings along the inside and a silver, diamond plating pattern wrapped around the outside, similar to the one which appeared on Oregon uniforms in the 2000s. The Big Ten logo is prominent in front of the diamond plating, as well as the Nike swoosh.

While most of the uniform is black — and the helmet black with white wings — the names on the back of the jerseys are green, as is the outline to the white numbers on both the front and back of the jersey.

The reveal video for the uniforms posted to social media Wednesday features legendary Ducks running back/wide receiver De’Anthony Thomas.

Oregon will continue revealing more new uniform combinations in the coming weeks as the 2024 season approaches.
