Doug Nienhuis

Bio: The Beavers recruited Nienhuis out of Woodbridge High School in Irvine, Calif., where he also played basketball and volleyball.

Key achievements: Nienhuis redshirted in 2000 before starting 38 games in his career. He was named second-team All-Pac-10 as a junior in 2003 and first-team as a senior in 2004. Nienhuis blocked for former OSU stars, running backs Ken Simonton and Steven Jackson, and quarterback Derek Anderson.

NFL: The Seattle Seahawks selected Nienhuis in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL draft. He was later picked up by the New York Jets, where he played seven games before spending time with the Houston Texans and Denver Broncos.
