The Portland Trail Blazers used the No. 34 pick in the second round of the NBA draft on Thursday to select guard Tyler Kolek out of Marquette.

The Blazers then promptly traded the selection to the New York Knicks for three future second-round picks, the team announced.

The Blazers acquired second-round picks in 2027, 2029 and 2030.

Kolek averaged 15.3 points per game last season, shooting 49.5% from the field and 38.8% from three-point range. He also averaged 7.7 assists and 4.9 rebounds.
