Former Oregon Ducks center N’Faly Dante agreed to a two-way deal with the Houston Rockets, according to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Dante, who went undrafted in the 2024 NBA draft, was denied an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA in June before turning pro. The 22-year-old from Mali will now have an opportunity to earn his place in the NBA with a deal that will split his time between the Rockets and their G-League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in Edinburg, Texas.

The 6-foot-10 Dante averaged 17 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks last season for the Ducks. During his final season at Oregon, Dante shared that he built a house for his mother in Mali with NIL money.
