Blazer Focused: Trail Blazers draft Donovan Clingan, trade for Deni Avdija

The Portland Trail Blazers have agreed to sign 6-foot-8 wing Yongxi “Jacky” Cui to an Exhibit 10 contract, an NBA source told The Oregonian/OregonLive.

ESPN first reported the news.

An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal that pays the minimum NBA salary but is not fully guaranteed. These contracts allow teams to bring players into camp to compete for roster spots on the team’s NBA roster or G League roster.

Cui would most likely play with the Rip City Remix should he earn a spot.

Last season with the Guangzhou Long Lions, Cui averaged 16.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He shot 50.7% from the field and 37.5% from beyond the arc.
