Police responded to reports of a person shot at the TriMet MAX platform at North Interstate Avenue and North Prescott Street.

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was found dead Thursday night on a TriMet MAX platform in North Portland, according to Portland police.

Around 8:30 p.m., Portland police officers responded to the platform at North Interstate Avenue and North Prescott Street for a report of a person shot. After arriving, the police officers found a man dead.

Portland police have not made any arrests and currently no suspects have been detained.

The identity of the man and his cause of death will be released after his family members have been notified, Portland police said.
