The Oregon Ducks picked up their third recruit in less than 24 hours from the 2025 class.

Four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame announced his commitment to the Ducks on Friday. The 6-foot-6, 215-pound prospect chose Oregon out of a final five that also included LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Tennessee. He took his final official visit to Eugene.

“I’ve been up there five or six times,” Brame told 247Sports after his announcement. “They plan to use me a lot like Terrance Ferguson. ... That’s definitely how I could see myself being used, and they say I fit in just like him.”

Brame hails from Derby High School in Derby, Kansas, and is the first tight end to join Dan Lanning’s 2025 recruiting class. He is the No. 5 tight end nationally and rated the 102nd overall player, according to 247Sports, making him the third-highest-ranked prospect for the Ducks so far this cycle.

In 13 games for Derby as a junior, Brame had 46 receptions for 942 yards and 13 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps.

Oregon now has 13 total commitments from the 2025 class, with more potentially to come in the weeks ahead. Brame joins a group of Ducks commits that includes four-star wide receivers Dallas Wilson (TX), Cooper Perry (AZ) and Isaiah Mozee (MO); four-star running backs Dierre Hill (IL) and Jordon Davison (CA); four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr. (CA); four-star interior offensive lineman Ziyare Addison (FL); four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt (CA); four-star edge rusher Matthew Johnson (CA); four-star cornerback Brandon Finney; three-star offensive tackle Demetri Manning (WA); and three-star defensive tackle Josiah Sharma (CA).
