Portland to see 90 degree temperature stretch starting July 4th - and near 100 degrees into next weekend.
It was cloudy but warm on Saturday in the Rose City - we hit 84 degrees out at PDX!
Clouds and pockets of light showers to start off Sunday morning in the Portland Metro. We will likely see clouds start decreasing by around 2-3PM - bringing mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs will reach upper 70s to low 80s.
Monday and Tuesday will be the coolest days this week - reaching the upper 70s both day. The week starts cloudy with a chance of more showers then sunny skies on Tuesday.
You can expect the 4th of July holiday and weekend to be sunny and hot. Models are hinting Portland reaching the low 90s by Thursday and mid to upper 90s by Friday and Saturday. We will continue monitoring the possibility of triple-digit, and record-breaking temperatures, later this week.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
