Steve Barnett

Bio: Barnett grew up in Oklahoma before moving to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon from 1960-1962 and went on to become an All-American and an NFL champion.

Key achievements: Barnett was voted All-Pacific Coast Conference team three times at Oregon and was part of the 1960 team that went 7-3-1 and reached the Liberty Bowl. In 1962, Barnett was named First-Team All-American after being selected to the second team the previous season. Barnett was chosen to play in the East-West Shrine Game, the Hula Bowl, and the Coaches All-America game.

NFL: The Chicago Bears selected Barnett in the second round (20th overall) of the 1963 NFL Draft. He played one season in Chicago, winning the 1963 NFL championship. Barnett also played one season in Washington.
