Springfield police said they recovered 4,153 stolen Lego sets with a total value of over $200,000.

A three-month investigation recovered 4,153 stolen Lego sets worth more than $200,000 in Eugene, according to Springfield police this month.

The owner of Brick Builders, 47-year-old Ammon Henrikson, is suspected of knowingly buying stolen sets for resale at his shop. Reached by phone on Sunday, Henrikson referred questions to his attorney, John Kolego, who did not immediately respond to an email.

No charges have been filed against Henrikson in Lane County, according to online court records.

But police said in a July 9 press release that Henrikson allegedly bought sets that were stolen from Target, Fred Meyer, Barnes & Noble and Walmart by people who then allegedly used the money to buy drugs.
