Damian Lillard showed some love for the Portland Timbers.

The NBA star was photographed wearing the Portland Timbers’ new jersey, labeled the “Clive Kit,” that honors the legendary Clive Charles. The Milwaukee Bucks and former Portland Trail Blazers’ star wore the jersey during an apparent music recording session.

The new kit, unveiled earlier this week, pays homage to Charles, an icon in the club’s long history. Charles played for the Timbers during their NASL era from 1978-81. The Timbers retired his No. 3 jersey in 2003 and his number is the only retired jersey by the Timbers.

Charles was instrumental in the development of youth soccer in Portland and made his name as the coach of the University of Portland men’s and women’s teams.
