A recent letter said age should not be used to disqualify presidents, (“Readers respond: Age shouldn’t disqualify Biden,” July 22). I disagree.

Commercial airline pilots in the U.S. are forced to retire at 65. If we don’t think pilots over 65 can make decisions about flying a plane, why in the world do we want people much older to guide our country? Why do we want people much older making laws for our country? There needs to be a mandatory retirement age for presidents, senators and congress people.
