The Oregon Ducks are already putting in work on their 2026 recruiting class.

Four-star running back Tradarian Ball announced his commitment to the Ducks on Saturday. Ball picked Oregon over Texas, LSU and USC.

Ball, hailing from Texarkana, Texas, is the No. 2 running back and No. 47 overall player in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. At 5-foot-10, 175 pounds, 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks describes Ball as a “consistent big-play option with versatility and athleticism to produce home run plays via hand-off, screen game, downfield targets, and in the return game.”

Ball follows in the footsteps of fellow Texarkana product and legendary Oregon running back LaMichael James.

Oregon has one other commit from the 2026 class so far: four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland from Willamette High School in Eugene.

Following the decommitment of three-star defensive lineman Josiah Sharma, who flipped to Texas, Oregon sits at 15 players in its 2025 class. That includes five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore (Texas); four-star tight end Da’Saahn Brame (Kansas); four-star wide receivers Dallas Wilson (Texas), Cooper Perry (Arizona) and Isaiah Mozee (Missouri); four-star running backs Dierre Hill (Illinois) and Jordon Davison (California); four-star quarterback Akili Smith Jr. (California); four-star interior offensive lineman Ziyare Addison (Florida); four-star linebacker Nasir Wyatt (California); four-star edge rusher Matthew Johnson (California); four-star cornerbacks Brandon Finney (Maryland) and Dorian Brew (Texas); and three-star offensive tackle Demetri Manning (Washington).
